• Follow all safety rules and regulations when performing work assignments. • Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on all fleet equipment. • Make mechanical repairs to equipment after completion of inspection and analysis of breakdown. • Record complete repair description on work order, including the correct model and the serial number of equipment and record hour meter reading. • Lubricate moving parts and operates repaired equipment to verify conformance to specifications. • Maintain the professional image of self and service truck by focusing on cleanliness and presentation. • Maintain an acceptable driving record and follow all rules and regulations related to having a CDL • Perform other duties as assigned by Manager .
• Must be at least 21 years of age, as required by the Spriggs company insurance policy • Technical School Certificate and 2 years of related work experience or 5 years of related work experience. • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) • Demonstrated history of safe, reliable work habits • Demonstrated ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair heavy earthmoving equipment • Working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions • Strong communication skills • Ability to work with minimal supervision • Ability to travel extensively, including overnight • Proficiency in spoken and written English is a mandatory requirement for this role, as it is essential for understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and participating in team communications.
