📋 Description
• Submit new claims via Dental Exchange, audit daily submissions, process EOBs, and manage corrected resubmissions/appeals in DentiMax. • Verify patient benefits, submit/track prior authorizations, and update patient coverage details accurately. • Track unpaid/aging claims, investigate root causes of denials, and work aging reports to keep accounts receivable low. • Audit posted payments against EOBs, identify missing or short payments, and resolve disputes with insurance carriers. • Perform outbound carrier calls regarding claim statuses and ensure accurate CDT code application and review.
🎯 Requirements
• DentiMax EMR & Dental Exchange: REQUIRED, NON-NEGOTIABLE. • Bilingual Proficiency: Fluent English and Spanish (read, write, speak). • Experience: Minimum 2 years of US dental billing, claims, and prior authorization experience. • CDT Coding & Insurance Knowledge: Proficient in CDT codes and familiar with PPO, HMO, Medicaid, and Medicare Advantage dental plans. • Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with EOBs, aging reports, payment reconciliation, and written appeals. • Workspace Setup: Reliable high-speed internet and a quiet, HIPAA-compliant remote workspace.
