📋 Description

• - Answer and manage a high volume of inbound and outbound patient calls professionally and efficiently. • - Schedule new and existing patient appointments, coordinate follow-up visits, and manage patient recall lists. • - Verify insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments. • - Obtain and track prior authorizations through insurance payer portals and other authorization platforms. • - Prepare patients for telemedicine appointments by completing intake and screening questions, documenting relevant information for the provider. • - Update and maintain accurate patient records within the EMR system. • - Coordinate with providers, patients, and insurance companies to ensure timely patient care. • - Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

🎯 Requirements

• - Minimum of **2 years of medical front office experience**, preferably in **Podiatry, Dermatology, Orthopedics, or Sports Medicine**. • - Proven experience with **insurance verification** and **prior authorizations**. • - Strong knowledge of insurance payer portals and authorization processes. • - Experience managing a high volume of patient phone calls. • - Comfortable interviewing patients and collecting clinical intake information for telemedicine visits. • - Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating patient follow-up care. • - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • - Bilingual **English/Spanish** preferred. • - Experience with **Practice Fusion** EMR is strongly preferred. • - Experience with **Weave** VoIP phone system is strongly preferred. • - Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. • - Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities. • Preferred Qualifications • - Experience working in a specialty medical practice. • - Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical office workflows. • - Comfortable learning new software and adapting to evolving processes.
