📋 Description

• Primarily focus to analyze, prepare, and process accounting transactions • Research and implement new and existing accounting guidance, document technical accounting conclusions and accounting policies • Support preparation of financial statements and management reporting • Assist in audit coordination between internal and external teams • Maintain accuracy of financial data through properly recording journal entries, preparing monthly reconciliations and other month end close activities • Compile, interpret, and communicate financial results, including regulatory and management reporting • Develop collaborative relationships across various divisions and departments to aid in efficient and proactive problem solving • Prepare ad hoc financial analysis demonstrating industry knowledge • Participate on project teams • Act as liaison between external auditors and internal finance team during annual audits • Perform research, development, and implementation of new and existing accounting guidance related to U.S. GAAP, IFRS, Statutory Accounting Principles, and emerging issues

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required • Minimum experience: 2-4 years progressively responsible experience in the preparation and interpretation of financial results, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience • Preferred professional licensure or certification: CPA, CMA, or MBA (preferred)
