📋 Description

• Contribute strategically throughout the development lifecycle through Shift-Left Testing • Actively participate in requirements refinement and solution design • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing architectures for functional, regression, integration, and API testing • Validate REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring compliance with architectural standards, design best practices, and security requirements • Perform complex backend validations using database queries (SQL) and messaging/event-driven systems • Integrate and maintain automated test execution in CI/CD pipelines • Serve as a technical point of reference for quality assurance • Analyze quality metrics, identify bottlenecks, and propose continuous improvements to squad processes

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive experience in backend and API test automation • Proficiency in programming languages used for automation, such as Java, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript/TypeScript • Hands-on experience with continuous integration (CI/CD) • Knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases for data validation • Knowledge of Test Virtualization (Mocks/Stubs) is a plus • Knowledge of planning and executing non-functional tests, with a focus on performance, load, and stress testing using tools such as JMeter or k6, is a plus
