📋 Description

• Technical Leadership: Act as the primary technical authority with client teams, leading the platform and architecture activities while assessing the current ecosystem. • Architecture Definition: Own the target architecture and define technical standards for the assessment and project delivery. • Quality and Governance: Lead refinement of the technical backlog, perform code reviews, and ensure high-quality data engineering. • Mentorship: Guide and mentor the development squad, promote best practices, and drive the team’s technical growth.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience: Background in data/technology with a proven track record in technical leadership and architecture. • Languages: Fluent English (essential for daily communication and alignment). • Data Architecture: Strong knowledge of Lakehouse architecture and the medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold), as well as Delta Lake and Delta Live Tables. • Databricks & Performance: Expertise in PySpark / Spark SQL performance tuning, Photon, cluster sizing, and cost optimization. • Governance: Hands-on experience with Unity Catalog for data governance (lineage, access control, data contracts, and catalog design). • Data Ingestion: Streaming and batch ingestion patterns using Auto Loader and Structured Streaming. • DevOps / DataOps: Experience with CI/CD using Databricks Asset Bundles, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and DataOps automation in AWS.
