📋 Description

• Prepare, review, and issue accurate, timely invoices, including billable hours and client-specific billing arrangements • Collaborate with partners and internal stakeholders to validate billing details before invoicing • Track billing schedules and consistently meet deadlines • Review time entries, expenses, and billing data for accuracy and compliance • Resolve billing queries and disputes by coordinating with internal teams and communicating with clients • Maintain organized billing records and documentation • Support month-end processes by keeping billing data complete and current • Identify recurring billing issues and recommend process improvements • Partner with collections and accounts receivable to ensure a smooth handoff from invoicing to payment • Take ownership of invoicing and billing operations to support revenue operations and cash flow

🎯 Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or finance operations • Familiarity with AI-assisted billing tools, including AI features in accounting or ERP platforms • Willingness to adopt AI-augmented workflows for data entry, payment follow-ups, and reconciliation • Experience automating finance systems • Strong attention to detail • Comfortable working with hourly, fixed-fee, and retainer billing structures • Clear communication and ability to follow up, clarify, and resolve issues quickly • Organized and able to manage multiple invoices and deadlines simultaneously • Experience with accounting or billing systems, including ERP and legal billing tools • Solid Excel skills and confidence working with data • Ability to support US Eastern Time working hours
