📋 Description

• Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience • Take a brief to grasp production team’s needs and specifications • Review shooting script and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes’ value and contribution to continuity • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film • Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects to elevate production value • Create rough and final cuts while maintaining high standards of quality control • Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running across all deliverables • Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process to ensure brand and narrative alignment • Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency • Perform ad hoc tasks assigned by management from time to time

🎯 Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Film, Multimedia, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is a plus — but what truly matters is what you can build • A standout portfolio or equivalent hands-on experience is just as valued • 3-5 years of experience in video editing and/or digital advertising, with a focus on video ads • Proven track record of creating high-performing video ads for online platforms (e.g., YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok) • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X) and motion graphics tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects) • Strong understanding of digital advertising metrics and analytics • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Prior experience in agencies/companies focused on online marketing preferred • Strong time-management and organizational skills, and the ability to handle ad hoc tasks in a dynamic environment
