📋 Description

• Develop and scale fraud prevention intelligence • Contain financial losses and reduce chargebacks • Identify vulnerabilities in protection layers • Propose corrective and preventive actions • Design, implement, and evolve recommendation models for different use cases and channels, ensuring performance, scalability, and quality • Define success metrics, including precision, recall, and business impact • Structure and evolve the alert monitoring and prioritization process, increasing the team’s operational efficiency • Develop and improve processes for evaluating, validating, and monitoring fraud detection models and rules • Contribute to the technical development of less experienced analysts by sharing knowledge and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Strong command of statistics and experience applying Machine Learning to fraud detection • Proficiency in Python and ML libraries, including Scikit-learn, XGBoost, and related derivatives • Proficiency in SQL with large data volumes using Spark, Databricks, and BigQuery • Ability to translate technical findings into business impact • Experience in merchant acquiring or with card-present and card-not-present transactions (credit and debit) — a plus • Experience with decision engines such as Feedzai, FICO, ClearSale, or Cybersource — a plus • Experience structuring fraud prevention policies, procedures, and processes — a plus
