📋 Description

‱ Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team through the full life-cycle development and delivery of next-generation digital Camera Mirror Systems (CMS) and ADAS vision systems ‱ Own end-to-end system architecture covering sensor, optics, ISP, ECU and display integration ‱ Ensure delivery of homologation-ready CMS solutions compliant with UN R46 standards ‱ Monitor engineering project progress and ensure budget, quality, delivery and functionality targets are met ‱ Drive platform scalability and cost optimization across product lines ‱ Develop proposals for product improvements and new product innovations ‱ Define and execute the camera product line strategy for CMS and ADAS platforms ‱ Build relationships with Business Development/Sales, Product Line Management, Advanced Product Development and Program Management ‱ Formulate objectives for engineering teams and ensure required team capabilities ‱ Own budget planning and management ‱ Translate complex technical solutions into business value for different stakeholders ‱ Identify client challenges and align tailored CMS and ADAS solutions to strategic and operational goals ‱ Connect engineering solutions to measurable business outcomes including ROI, cost efficiency and competitive positioning ‱ Report to the VP, Engineering & Innovation ‱ Travel regularly within Europe and globally

🎯 Requirements

‱ 12–15+ years in automotive engineering focused on camera mirror systems, imaging and ADAS or vision-based systems ‱ Minimum 5 years in a technical leadership role, preferably within a global automotive organization ‱ Deep understanding of sensor and optics integration, ISP tuning, and low-light/HDR imaging ‱ Familiarity with UN R46 homologation requirements is a strong advantage ‱ Proven track record leading global engineering teams and delivering successful SOP launches ‱ Knowledge of automotive development methodologies including ASPICE ‱ Knowledge of automotive core tools including IATF16949, APQP and DFMEA ‱ Experience with functional safety ISO 26262 ‱ Awareness of SOTIF ISO 21448 ‱ Strong problem-solving skills, including 8D methodology ‱ Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus ‱ Strong communication and people management skills ‱ Ability to operate effectively in global, cross-cultural environments ‱ Willingness and ability to travel globally
