âą Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team through the full life-cycle development and delivery of next-generation digital Camera Mirror Systems (CMS) and ADAS vision systems âą Own end-to-end system architecture covering sensor, optics, ISP, ECU and display integration âą Ensure delivery of homologation-ready CMS solutions compliant with UN R46 standards âą Monitor engineering project progress and ensure budget, quality, delivery and functionality targets are met âą Drive platform scalability and cost optimization across product lines âą Develop proposals for product improvements and new product innovations âą Define and execute the camera product line strategy for CMS and ADAS platforms âą Build relationships with Business Development/Sales, Product Line Management, Advanced Product Development and Program Management âą Formulate objectives for engineering teams and ensure required team capabilities âą Own budget planning and management âą Translate complex technical solutions into business value for different stakeholders âą Identify client challenges and align tailored CMS and ADAS solutions to strategic and operational goals âą Connect engineering solutions to measurable business outcomes including ROI, cost efficiency and competitive positioning âą Report to the VP, Engineering & Innovation âą Travel regularly within Europe and globally
âą 12â15+ years in automotive engineering focused on camera mirror systems, imaging and ADAS or vision-based systems âą Minimum 5 years in a technical leadership role, preferably within a global automotive organization âą Deep understanding of sensor and optics integration, ISP tuning, and low-light/HDR imaging âą Familiarity with UN R46 homologation requirements is a strong advantage âą Proven track record leading global engineering teams and delivering successful SOP launches âą Knowledge of automotive development methodologies including ASPICE âą Knowledge of automotive core tools including IATF16949, APQP and DFMEA âą Experience with functional safety ISO 26262 âą Awareness of SOTIF ISO 21448 âą Strong problem-solving skills, including 8D methodology âą Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus âą Strong communication and people management skills âą Ability to operate effectively in global, cross-cultural environments âą Willingness and ability to travel globally
