📋 Description

• Build and ship robust backend services with real product impact • Ensure systems are scalable, performant, and easy to maintain • Collaborate across teams to integrate services and deliver end-to-end value • Model business domains into clean, performant data structures • Coach and mentor other engineers on best practices • Collaborate with engineers and lead technical delivery on initiatives within a domain or project • Lead by example in engineering excellence, pragmatism, and shared ownership • Implement new features, scale existing capabilities, and improve the product • Work with Developers, Designers, Quality Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and Product Owners to deliver the platform

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering products with TypeScript (and JavaScript) • Strong backend development skills with Node.js • Solid experience designing and integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs • Comfortable working in monorepo environments and modular architectures • Proficient in data modeling and working with SQL/NoSQL databases • Familiar with testing practices, performance tuning, and scalable design principles • Proactive, result-driven, and excited to work in a fast-growing tech scale-up • Confident in making architectural decisions and communicating trade-offs • Comfortable mentoring and supporting engineers to help them grow • Strong team player who values collaboration and shared success • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Nice to have: experience supporting Keycloak or other identity management solutions • Nice to have: experience with Vue.js or other front-end frameworks • Nice to have: affinity with rendering technologies such as ffmpeg • Nice to have: affinity with motion graphics and visual effects software such as After Effects • Nice to have: experience with GitLab CI/CD, DevOps, and public cloud such as GCP
