📋 Description

• Partner with Commercial EMEA and LatAm spend owners, manufacturing sites, and Finance to improve cost and service levels across Indirect Procurement categories • Support global Indirect Procurement initiatives in EMEA and LatAm for Global Category Managers • Run and own Pan-European savings initiatives in Commercial Europe above 100K • Support and guide local savings initiatives by country and category • Support local buyers to contract suppliers with 10–100K spend • Liaise with Global Category Leads and incorporate additional European requirements and needs into global tenders • Reduce risk and establish security of supply for contracted services and goods • Reduce the number of suppliers and simplify the supplier landscape using preferred, contract, local, outsource, and spot-buying vendors • Drive spend toward negotiated rate cards and contracted suppliers • Communicate and present to colleagues and suppliers • Develop and review presentation materials • Travel approximately 20%

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree and/or Certified Purchasing Manager (or equivalent) • Good understanding of financial analysis and strategic analysis • Trained negotiation skills • Project management capability and experience • Good understanding of procurement / strategic commodity management preferred • English and German are mandatory; Spanish would be a plus • 5+ years relevant working experience in multiple direct or indirect procurement categories with an international scope • Sourcing/Supply Chain certifications or training desired • Experience in commodity analysis, supplier management, and project management roles • Experience developing, negotiating, and implementing commercial contracts, including supply and service agreements • Experience working with and developing strong relationships with multiple stakeholders to deliver results • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment • Experience working in a med-tech/fast-growing environment is a plus • Must be able to communicate and present to groups of colleagues or suppliers • Must be able to develop and review presentation materials • Must be able to communicate telephonically or on online tools • Ability to use common business tools such as Power BI or Microsoft Suite of products • Active speaking and listening behavior with suppliers • Collaborative working behavior with colleagues
