📋 Description

• Serve as the primary technical resource for the ANZ Accounts team • Share product and technical expertise across security and observability use cases through presentations, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations (Proof of Values) • Work with clients to understand requirements and pain points and design appropriate solutions • Guide customers through Proof of Value processes during the sales cycle • Build positive customer relationships and provide continuous value • Partner with Account Executives and Account Managers to understand customer challenges and articulate Sumo Logic’s value proposition, vision, and strategy • Technically close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility • Orchestrate all phases of the sales cycle, including leading technical validations • Work with executives, individual developers, and Site Reliability Engineers • Deliver product and technical demonstrations of the Sumo Logic service • Work cross-functionally with Product Management and Engineering to improve the Sumo Logic service based on customer experience

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 4+ years as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Support Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Software Developer with experience leading projects and/or working with customers • Hands-on knowledge of security-related products, technologies, and sources such as IDS/IPS, SIEM/Log Management, Network / Endpoint Security, Threat Detection, Incident Response, MSSP/MDR, Threat Feeds, and CASB • Experience selling and working with pure SaaS solutions in multi-tenant architectures • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure • Broad background and understanding of technical infrastructure, including servers, networking devices, and storage • Strong written and verbal communication skills, business acumen, and technical acumen • M.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred • Experience with open source collections such as Telegraf, FluentBit, FluentD, and OpenTelemetry preferred • Experience leading and running technical validations such as Proof of Value preferred • Microsoft Azure certification preferred • Understanding and experience with modern application architecture, micro-services, containers, Kubernetes, Docker, and/or Lambda preferred • Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Elastic, and New Relic preferred • Experience at a successful startup preferred
