📋 Description

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive functional, non-functional, regression, performance, and accessibility test plans and cases • Review test cases, automation scripts, and test results for coverage, accuracy, and alignment with business requirements • Identify, document, track, and communicate software defects using bug-tracking tools • Analyze testing metrics and results and recommend QA process and product-quality improvements • Lead initiatives using automated test scripts with Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to define testing strategies • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives • Lead and manage QA Engineers, including performance, workload distribution, and career development • Mentor QA team members through coaching, technical guidance, and best-practice standards • Set objectives aligned with team, department, and organizational goals • Support employee engagement, retention, and growth • Provide input into QA resource planning and staffing decisions • Serve as hiring manager for L1–L2 QA roles by reviewing assessments, conducting interviews, and contributing to hiring decisions • Partner with leadership to align quality goals with business objectives • Communicate quality insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams • Contribute to continuous improvement across QA and engineering teams • Report to the Manager, QA

🎯 Requirements

• High-level proficiency of written and verbal communication in English • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on functional and automated testing • 1–2 years of experience in a formal people leadership role, or a combination of 1–2 years as a people manager plus prior Technical Lead experience with ownership over delivery, mentoring, and cross-functional coordination • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or Playwright • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments • Proven ability to analyze complex systems and resolve testing challenges • Hands-on experience with frontend and backend testing, including web application testing, APIs/services, integrations, and data validation • Preferred: Experience defining QA metrics and improving testing processes at scale • Preferred: Experience using AI platforms such as Claude, Copilot, or ChatGPT, with understanding of LLMs and multi-agent systems applied to QE use cases • Ability to pass a thorough background check
