📋 Description
• Process customer data using Python, Spark, SQL, and Databricks • Work with Data Analysts to answer data questions and offload repeatable processes • Validate data processes and results • Tune performance of large-scale batch processing and streaming pipelines • Create dashboards and alerts for internal process and data monitoring using Databricks, Grafana, and Tableau • Perform other related duties as assigned
🎯 Requirements
• 1+ years of industry experience architecting, coding, verifying, and operating large-scale data pipelines and architectures • 1+ years of professional experience with Spark, Python, and SQL • Ability to work collaboratively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment • Experience with NoSQL, Document DB, key-value, columnar, and blob data storage patterns • Experience with multiple vendor solutions for repository patterns and selecting solutions for data architectures and workloads • Ability to collaborate with client and service engineering teams on data architecture • Operational experience with large-scale data warehouses and/or data lakes • Experience with distributed processing frameworks handling batch data • Ability to build well-modeled, documented, understandable, and maintainable data products • Availability of 20 hours per week • Preferred: understanding of data science and data pipelines supporting data scientists • Preferred: ad-hoc analysis and data visualization experience with Excel, Power BI, and Tableau • Preferred: familiarity with common data engineering scripting languages
