📋 Description
• Collaborate with representatives from other functions to plan, execute, and analyze biomarker aspects, including genomics, of clinical and biomarker studies • Serve as project biomarker statistician under guidance of an experienced statistician • Develop the Biomarker Evaluation Plan and ensure consistency within and between projects • Provide statistical input in clinical development discussions and use of AI and ML approaches • Organize and coordinate statistical activities for biomarker research and development • Design and conduct advanced data analysis for genomics and biomarker statistics • Perform statistical programming and design complex analysis algorithms • Handle RNA, Olink, and other biomarker data • Produce accurate Biomarker Evaluation Reports and interpret results • Work independently on routine and complex statistical questions, modeling, and tasks • Develop and implement standard processes for routine biomarker assessment analyses
🎯 Requirements
• PhD or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently and collaboratively • Minimal supervision required • Experience using AI and ML approaches • Previous experience independently leading a biomarker study is mandatory • Previous clinical trial experience; industry experience is preferred • Strong knowledge of biomarker evaluation, especially immunology and infections, type 1 diabetes, relevant parameters, and underlying biology • Good knowledge of statistical programming languages, including R, Bioconductor, relevant R packages for genetic data, and Python • Experience analyzing high-dimensional data • Experience with RNA, Olink, and other biomarker data handling
