📋 Description

• Lead multi-country projects involving negotiation and preparation of contracts, budgets, and related documents for industry-sponsored clinical trials • Produce and review site-specific contracts from country clinical trial agreement templates • Submit proposed CTAs and investigator budgets for site review • Negotiate budgets and contracts with sites, the Site Contracts Service Centre, SSUL, and sponsors • Perform quality control and arrange execution and archival of CTAs and metadata capture • Administer project-level contract management processes and coordinate related agreement documents • Generate amended contract and budget documents and streamline contract/proposal and internal processes • Harmonize site contracts with sponsor master service agreement terms in collaboration with Site Contract Service Center and Legal • Validate departmental budget loads and backlog with SSU Lead, Clinical Operations, and Finance • Identify contract and process risks and develop solutions • Establish relationships with SSU leads, customers, and internal project teams • Escalate deviations to leadership, Site Contract Service Center, and Legal • Support business development and represent site contracts/Site Start-Up at internal and customer meetings • Track country/site contracting timelines and milestone progress in the SSU tracking system • Collaborate with legal, finance, and clinical operations teams on legal and budgetary issues • Maintain contract templates, budget templates, site-specific files, and databases • Serve as communication liaison and provide contract-status updates • Prepare correspondence and facilitate contract execution by company signatories • Train and mentor less experienced staff and maintain training materials • Monitor basic project financial aspects and contract hours/tasks, escalating discrepancies • Comply with SOPs, Work Instructions, training-record, and timesheet requirements • Contribute to training and quality assurance plans and update SOPs/WIs

🎯 Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Advanced degree preferred • Moderate contracts management experience, including experience in a contract research organization or pharmaceutical industry • Management experience preferred • Strong knowledge of the clinical development process and legal and contracting parameters • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to manage challenging priorities and remain flexible and adaptable in stressful situations • Excellent understanding of clinical trial processes across Phases II–IV and ICH GCP • Good understanding of clinical protocols and associated study specifications • Excellent understanding of clinical trial start-up processes • Project management experience in a fast-paced environment • Good vendor management skills • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Quality-driven approach • Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills • Ability to mentor and motivate junior staff • Ability to provide quality feedback and guidance to peers • Ability to contribute to a training and Quality Assurance plan within SSU and update SOPs/WIs
