📋 Description
• Lead multi-country projects involving negotiation and preparation of contracts, budgets, and related documents for industry-sponsored clinical trials • Produce, review, negotiate, and execute site-specific clinical trial agreements and investigator budgets • Perform quality control, arrange contract execution, archive documents, and capture metadata • Administer contract management processes and coordinate related agreement documents at project level • Generate amended contract and budget documents and streamline contract and proposal processes • Harmonize site contracts with sponsor master service agreement terms in collaboration with Site Contract Service Center and Legal • Validate departmental budget loads and backlog with SSU lead, Clinical Operations, and Finance • Identify contract and process risks and provide solutions • Establish working relationships with SSU leads, customers, and internal project teams • Escalate deviations to leadership, Site Contract Service Center, and Legal • Support business development and represent site contracts/Site Start-Up at internal or customer meetings • Track contracting timelines and milestone progress in the agreed SSU tracking system • Collaborate with legal, finance, and clinical operations departments on legal and budgetary issues • Maintain contract templates, budget templates, site-specific files, and databases • Serve as communication liaison on contract statuses and pending issues • Train and mentor less experienced staff and maintain training materials • Facilitate execution of contracts by company signatories • Monitor basic project financial aspects, available hours/tasks, timesheets, SOPs, and training records
🎯 Requirements
• BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience • Advanced degree preferred • Moderate contracts management experience, including experience in a contract research organization or pharmaceutical industry • Management experience preferred • Strong knowledge of the clinical development process and legal and contracting parameters • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite • Customer-focused ability to manage challenging priorities and remain flexible and adaptable in stressful situations • Excellent understanding of clinical trial processes across Phases II–IV and ICH GCP • Good understanding of clinical protocols and associated study specifications • Excellent understanding of clinical trial start-up processes • Project management experience in a fast-paced environment • Good vendor management skills • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills • Quality-driven approach • Strong negotiating and problem-solving skills • Ability to mentor and motivate junior staff • Ability to provide quality feedback and guidance to peers • Ability to contribute to an SSU training and Quality Assurance plan and update SOPs/WIs
