📋 Description

• Own the Timescale data warehouse as Synera’s single source of truth • Extract data from Salesforce, HubSpot, product, finance, and other business systems into the warehouse • Structure and annotate data for querying • Build and own ETL pipelines, data models, and synchronization jobs • Build reporting and forecasting layers using Power BI, Salesforce reports, and forecast models • Extrapolate pipeline, funnel, and usage data to forecast business direction • Model and expose data through warehouse models, APIs, MCP connectors, permissions, and governance for AI agents • Build retrieval infrastructure for documents, wiki content, tickets, and meeting transcripts, including chunking, embeddings, and indexing • Version-control, test, document, monitor, validate, and maintain data transformations and data quality • Partner with teams across Synera to bring data into the warehouse and make machine-readable data the default • Establish the data foundation and knowledge layer for Synera’s company-wide superagent • Enable teams to self-serve answers through trustworthy data flows

🎯 Requirements

• SQL is second nature • Experience building ETL/data pipelines using Airflow or similar • Experience building data models • Strong data extraction and transformation skills • Experience building the data layer behind LLM applications, including retrieval, embeddings, vector search, context design, MCP, or comparable tool interfaces • Experience integrating multiple systems, including APIs, webhooks, authentication models, rate limits, and schema changes • Ability to debug data discrepancies across multiple tools • Data access and privacy awareness • Experience with scripts, APIs, workflow tools, and AI agents • Daily practical use of LLMs • Experience building reporting and forecasting used by stakeholders • Confident English communication • Clear communication with non-technical colleagues and executives • Ability to document systems and identify/fix underlying issues • German is a plus • Candidates must have residency in Germany
