📋 Description

• Build new agent types inside Synthesia’s editor, including survey agents, knowledge-check agents, and quiz flows • Develop interactive experiences that creators configure and learners use in real time • Own features end-to-end from editor UI through application state and logic into the video player • Work primarily in the large React and TypeScript editor, with some video-player work • Collaborate with product and design to shape interaction patterns • Make small backend changes when needed to unblock frontend work

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6+ years of frontend engineering experience • Primarily TypeScript and React experience • Backend knowledge sufficient to take features end-to-end with NodeJS • Experience working on a large, complex web application • Experience with an editor, design tool, no-code/low-code platform, workflow builder, or similar product is ideal • Ability to own frontend features independently from UI through state management and application logic • Familiarity with real-time interactions, such as WebSockets and live collaboration patterns • Strong product mindset • Experience with AI-powered features, agent interfaces, or LLM-integrated products is nice to have • Observability experience with tools such as Datadog, Sentry, or Grafana is nice to have • Complex state management experience in large frontend applications is nice to have • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without visa sponsorship • Ability to maintain right-to-work authorization without ongoing employer support
