📋 Description

• Collaborate with teams of engineers to deploy and maintain CI/CD systems. • Solve problems using various tools in a (mostly) AWS environment. • Ensure our services and products seamlessly move from development through rollout and into production. • Focus on improving the developer experience in the software development lifecycle. • Championing code quality through rigorous reviews. • Mentoring peers to elevate team performance. • Participating in paid on-call rotations to maintain the high availability of critical services. • Proactively sharing knowledge, insights, and best practices with the team and across departments. • Migrating applications and repositories from our Jenkins pipeline to GitHub Actions. • Consolidating our code artifact storage environment into a single solution.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of devops engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a senior role. • Curiosity with a strong appetite for new knowledge. • Strong fundamentals in data structures, design patterns, testing, and debugging. • Extensive professional experience with Java, NodeJS,, and Python. • Expertise in Microservices architecture and Docker containers. • Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS, EKS, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS). • Experience with system monitoring and logging tools like DataDog and AWS CloudWatch. • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform). • Deep expertise in modern CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and Git version control. • Experience with data persistence using relational databases (MySQL/Postgres). • Proven experience mentoring/influencing peers and a passion for teamwork and code reviews. • Strong communication skills in both written and oral English. • Experience working with Jira in a Kanban environment.
