📋 Description

• Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs and backend services, with attention to contracts, versioning, and backward compatibility • Write unit and integration tests as part of the development workflow • Model data and write efficient queries for relational databases • Actively participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive technical feedback • Contribute to architecture discussions concerning layer separation, module boundaries, and isolation of external dependencies • Instrument applications with structured logs, metrics, and error handling to diagnose production issues • Work on the frontend (Vue.js or React/Next.js) when end-to-end delivery requires it • Investigate and resolve production incidents, proposing root-cause fixes • Participate in design discussions before coding, understand business problems, and contribute to the continuous evolution of the codebase

🎯 Requirements

• Professional experience in backend development • Strong, in-depth proficiency in TypeScript/Node.js • Proficiency with coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) applied to product delivery • Experience with structured backend frameworks (NestJS or equivalent), including dependency injection, middleware, and validation pipelines • Solid knowledge of SQL and relational data modeling, including indexes, joins, normalization, and execution-plan analysis • Consistent hands-on experience with automated testing • Git experience in collaborative workflows, including branches, pull requests, conflict resolution, and cohesive commits • Familiarity with at least one modern frontend framework (Vue.js or React/Next.js) • Applied knowledge of design principles, including SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, and separation of concerns • AWS experience is desirable; certification is not required • Docker and a basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines • Messaging and asynchronous processing (SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka) • Observability tools and practices, such as Datadog, OpenTelemetry, or similar • Caching with Redis and cache-invalidation strategies • Experience with Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture (Ports and Adapters), or DDD • Experience with agile practices, including XP, Scrum, and Kanban • Experience with modular monoliths and/or the gradual decomposition of legacy systems • Knowledge of application security, including the OWASP Top 10, authentication/authorization, and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) • Experience with web components and distributed frontend architecture
