📋 Description

• Develop and maintain backend software using Python and cloud-native technologies • Build and work with distributed architectures and service-oriented systems • Develop scalable, transaction-intensive payment systems • Work with Brite’s fintech products, payment infrastructure, and product stack • Optimize system performance at scale • Contribute to solutions and the engineering work framework • Collaborate with engineering teams and top industry talent • Participate in the hiring process, including a team case or live-coding discussion

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development • Deep expertise in Python • Solid background in AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure • Strong understanding of distributed architectures and service-oriented systems • Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience • Experience with highly scalable, transaction-intensive systems • Strong problem-solving skills • Passion for optimizing performance at scale • Security-conscious mindset • Familiarity with encryption techniques and security best practices • Tech stack experience with Python, FastAPI, Terraform, GCP Cloud Run, PubSub, Datastore, Cloud Scheduler, and BigQuery • Meritorious: team leadership experience • Meritorious: experience with Open Banking, PSD2, and financial integrations • Meritorious: background in real-time payment solutions
