📋 Description

• Analyze cross-functional data and provide insights to business teams • Lead and direct on-shore and off-shore engineering project teams to deliver data solutions on time • Architect, build, and operate data models • Develop database views, table functions, and models in SAP HANA and public cloud data platforms • Enable data science, business, and engineering teams to build analytics quickly and effectively • Define data integration requirements between systems and coordinate their implementation with extended teams • Follow documented architecture, design, and deployment processes to ensure policy compliance • Set, communicate, and reinforce technical standards • Collaborate with broader IT and engineering teams to build analytics solutions • Own the data model across analytics solutions and the data warehouse • Provide technical guidance to other data engineers • Collaborate with stakeholders on current and future data infrastructure needs • Implement and operate data flow solutions from ingestion through consumption • Identify, gather, and ensure reliable data connections from enterprise systems, home-grown databases, and third-party sources • Support data analysts, data scientists, and multiple teams, systems, and products

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in BWHana/Datasphere software development • 5+ years developing end-to-end business intelligence solutions, including data modeling, ETL, and reporting • 5+ years in relational database concepts • Solid knowledge of star schema, Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Tuning, OLAP, and Big Data technologies including HANA and Snowflake or another modern database • 3–4 years of SAP HANA database experience • Expertise working with large databases, BI applications, data quality, and performance tuning • Excellent communication skills • Ability to work individually and in a geographically dispersed team • BS/MS in Computer Science or related majors • Experience in Microsoft Azure cloud solutions is a plus • Azure Data Factory pipeline management and creation is a plus • Experience with Logic Apps is a plus • Knowledge of other cloud solutions is a plus • Development experience in Python, R, or JavaScript is a bonus • Experience in machine learning is a big plus
