📋 Description

• Develop and execute a comprehensive global portfolio strategy to drive sustainable revenue and margin growth • Identify breakthrough opportunities in new applications, platforms, technologies, business models, and targeted M&A opportunities • Translate market trends, customer needs, technology developments, regulatory changes, and competitive activity into strategic actions • Build and maintain product and technology roadmaps in collaboration with Engineering, Sales, and Operations • Lead Voice of the Customer (VOC) and application insights programs to develop differentiated product proposals and guide investment decisions • Support strategic partnerships and M&A activities, including target analysis, strategic rationale, market and portfolio fit assessments, and post-merger integration • Define resource requirements and lead the global pricing strategy, including value-based pricing, discount governance, and margin optimization • Assume full P&L responsibility for global product lines • Drive growth through NPI adoption, customer design wins, and market share gains • Monitor performance against annual and long-term plans, manage risk, and create competitive advantages through product differentiation, operational efficiency, and strategic cost management • Mobilize cross-functional teams and ensure global alignment across Engineering, Sales, Operations, Finance, and regional Product Management teams in a matrix organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business • MBA or equivalent experience with P&L responsibility preferred • 10+ years of experience in product management, strategy, business development, or comparable roles within industrial technology or adjacent markets • Proven success in portfolio strategy, lifecycle management, roadmap development, and identifying product gaps • Track record of driving revenue growth, cost optimization, and margin improvement • Experience in industrial markets preferred, such as equipment, connectors, electromechanical components, or industrial automation • Strong financial and quantitative skills, with the ability to derive insights and make disciplined decisions • Willingness to travel worldwide up to 25% • Fluency in German and English required
