📋 Description

• Own the client’s website: maintaining what they have, shipping improvements, and helping them build new features as the product and business evolves. • Day to day, this role covers a mix of maintenance and new development -- keeping the site fast, bug-free, and on-brand, while shipping improvements to pages, components, and features over time. • Bug fixes, performance improvements, and ongoing site maintenance • Building and iterating on pages and UI components aligned to our design system • Improving Algolia search and filtering experiences across venue and foodboard discovery • Integrating Firebase data into new and existing pages • Contributing to SEO -- structured data, metadata, page performance • Implementing new features as the product roadmap evolves (city launches, new content types, leaderboards, etc.) • Collaborating with our design and product team to bring concepts to life in code

🎯 Requirements

• Solid production experience with Next.js and React • TypeScript proficiency • Hands-on Firebase experience (Firestore and Storage) • Experience with Algolia or similar search tooling • AWS experience -- comfortable working within AWS infrastructure • Strong eye for detail and care about the quality of what gets shipped • Comfortable working async and autonomously in a lean startup environment • Good communication -- you can flag problems early, ask the right questions, and manage your own time
