📋 Description

• You will assume configuration and change-management responsibilities in specialized shipbuilding projects in accordance with applicable process and project requirements. • Identify configuration items and control change processes. • Conduct configuration audits and ensure complete configuration recordkeeping. • Define and monitor the configuration structure while considering relevant interfaces. • Prepare timely baseline reports, for example to capture design status. • Consolidate project-specific configuration reports and maintain the systematics for managing change requests. • Submit change requests to the responsible decision-making body and document the outcomes in the change register. • Lead the Change Control Board and escalate overdue items to project management. • Document all changes in the baselines and verify that the actual and target configurations are consistent. • Establish and monitor configuration-management interfaces with subcontractors, clients and shipyards.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics or a comparable field (m/f/d). • Practical experience in configuration management. • Solid knowledge of common methods and tools used in configuration management. • Confident user of the MS Office suite. • Good knowledge of SAP, Siemens Teamcenter and IBM Jazz. • Strong team orientation and excellent communication skills in German and English. • Knowledge of relevant DIN standards in configuration management, such as DIN EN ISO 10007, is desirable. • Experience with quality assurance processes (AQP) and familiarity with military standards and requirements—e.g., MIL-STD or VG standards—are an advantage. • Willingness to undertake occasional business travel within Germany. • Fulfillment of the requirements for a VS-NfD security briefing at project start.
