📋 Description
• Develop fire sprinkler systems for a broad range of clients • Work closely with Professional Engineers to complete projects • Complete the initial setup of CAD backgrounds and file structures • Perform design verifications and basic hydraulic calculations • Revise and edit drawings from QA and AHJ/Client reviews • Print, plot and process drawings for internal and external use • Advise Senior Designers of potential issues or scheduling concerns
🎯 Requirements
• 3 years CAD design experience in the Architectural, Construction or MEP trade required; • Prior experience in Fire Suppression Contracting Design in the construction field required; • Prior experience in REVIT and BIM preferred; • NICET certification in Level I or II preferred; • High School or GED required; • 2 years’ college or specialized training in Fire Protection or CAD Technical School; • Bachelor degree in Fire Protection, Engineering, or CAD, preferred.
