📋 Description

• Write 5–6 high-quality SolarBalls scripts per month, typically long-form episodes of approximately 8 minutes, from story development through final delivery • Develop stories and dialogue balancing comedy, drama, science, and character development while preserving the established voice and universe • Maintain continuity across characters, relationships, lore, and ongoing storylines • Identify and resolve narrative or pacing issues proactively • Research scientific and historical concepts accurately and integrate them naturally into entertaining stories • Collaborate with the Script Editor and Researcher to refine scripts, incorporate feedback, and ensure production readiness • Work directly with Alvaro Calmet to execute the broader creative vision and incorporate final creative direction • Meet production deadlines and maintain consistent writing quality • Write shorter-form scripts, including YouTube Shorts and brand partnership integrations, when needed

🎯 Requirements

• Professional-level writing experience and proven ability to consistently deliver high-quality narrative work • Proven professional experience as a scriptwriter, screenwriter, television writer, animation writer, game writer, or closely related narrative professional • Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, dialogue, character development, and narrative structure • Experience working on an established series, IP, or fictional universe, ideally in a professional entertainment production environment • Strong understanding of story structure, pacing, character arcs, comedy, drama, and narrative continuity • Excellent written English and natural dialogue • Strong research skills, genuine curiosity, and exceptional attention to detail • Ability to work with scientific and educational subject matter • Discipline to deliver high-quality work against deadlines and improve scripts through revision • Ability to work independently, identify problems, make sound creative decisions, and collaborate within an established creative vision • Genuine familiarity with and enthusiasm for SolarBalls’ characters, relationships, lore, narrative arcs, and storytelling style • Formal training or professional experience in screenwriting, film, animation, television, games, or a related field is a strong advantage • Experience working with directors, producers, or creative leads is a strong advantage
