📋 Description

• Lead deployment of liquid cooling systems during data center build-outs and expansions, including D2C loops, cold plate systems, CDUs, and immersion tanks. • Oversee installation of mechanical piping, manifolds, hose assemblies, quick disconnects, and supporting infrastructure. • Interpret and implement liquid cooling design documents, ensuring alignment with mechanical, electrical, and IT infrastructure. • Work closely with vendors and contractors to manage the delivery, installation, and integration of cooling equipment. • Participate in factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), commissioning, and thermal performance validation. • Ensure adherence to safety standards, leak prevention protocols, and best practices for handling coolants and fluid management. • Support change management, field engineering adjustments, and feedback to design for continuous improvement. • Coordinate with operations to ensure successful handoff and documentation of installed systems.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent field experience). • 5+ years of experience in data center builds, with at least 2 years focused on liquid or advanced cooling technologies. • Strong understanding of mechanical systems design, fluid dynamics, and thermal management in mission-critical environments. • Hands-on experience deploying liquid cooling infrastructure (e.g., CDUs, cold plates, rear-door heat exchangers). • Familiarity with relevant standards (ASHRAE TC9.9, Uptime Institute) and environmental health/safety best practices. • Proficiency with construction coordination tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam) and mechanical layout interpretation. • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and on-site coordination skills.
