📋 Description

We’re focused on creating a foundation that empowers cutting-edge advancements in intelligent computing, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the AI landscape. • Data Center Build Engineer: We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Data Center Build Engineer to lead and manage the deployment and integration of infrastructure during new data center builds, expansions, and fit-outs. In this critical role, you will be responsible for translating design plans into physical implementations—coordinating the installation of electrical, mechanical, and IT systems to ensure on-time, high-quality, and standards-compliant delivery. • As a Data Center Build Engineer, you will work closely with construction teams, design engineers, vendors, and operations staff to oversee all build phases—from site mobilization to commissioning—while ensuring adherence to design intent, technical requirements, and safety standards. • Oversee day-to-day construction and infrastructure deployment activities during data center builds. • Coordinate the installation of power, cooling, cabling, racks, containment, and related systems to meet project timelines and quality standards. • Interpret and implement detailed design drawings, installation guidelines, and technical specifications. • Monitor contractor work to ensure compliance with design intent, industry standards, and safety protocols. • Support factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT), commissioning, and handover to operations. • Track build progress, document changes, and escalate risks or issues to project stakeholders. • Ensure all infrastructure systems are installed, labeled, and tested according to standards and documentation requirements. • Collaborate with design engineers to resolve field changes and contribute to design feedback for future improvements. • Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field—or equivalent hands-on experience. • 5+ years of experience in mission-critical environments, preferably in data center construction or build-out projects. • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and structured cabling systems. • Familiarity with data center standards (Uptime Institute, TIA-942, ASHRAE) and commissioning practices. • Proficiency in construction documentation, scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera), and design software (AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit is a plus). • Excellent organizational, communication, and on-site problem-solving skills. • What We Bring: • Stock Options • 100% paid Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance • Life and Voluntary Supplemental Insurance • Short Term Disability Insurance • Flexible Spending Account • 401(k) • Flexible PTO • Paid Holidays • Parental Leave • Mental Health Benefits through Spring Health
