📋 Description

• Work on preparing socioeconomic studies within environmental licensing processes (EIA/RIMA, PBA and related studies); • Develop socioeconomic diagnostics, including population characterization, economic dynamics, land use and occupation, infrastructure, public services and social vulnerabilities; • Collect, analyze and systematize secondary data (IBGE, IPEA, DATASUS, among others) and, when applicable, primary field data; • Support the identification, analysis and assessment of socioeconomic impacts, as well as the proposal of mitigation and compensation measures and socio-environmental programs; • Participate in field activities, technical meetings, participatory workshops and stakeholder engagement processes, when necessary; • Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team (physical and biotic components), contributing to the integration of study results; • Support the coordination team in responding to environmental agencies, including replies to official requests, technical supplements and public hearings; • Contribute to methodological standardization and continuous improvement of the socio-environmental technical products at Tetra Mais.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Administration, Economics, Geography, Social Sciences, Sociology, Architecture and Urban Planning or related fields; • Previous experience in socioeconomic studies within the context of environmental licensing; • Solid knowledge of EIA/RIMA, particularly the socioeconomic components; • Ability to perform critical analysis of socioeconomic data, and social and territorial indicators; • Experience preparing diagnostics, technical reports and technical opinions; • Strong technical writing skills and the ability to organize complex information; • Familiarity with environmental legislation applicable to the socioeconomic context; • Availability to travel (fieldwork); • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and meet deadlines.
