📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for clients in the Insurance and Legal sectors • Create and finalize translated deliverables before they are sent to clients • Collaborate with managers and Project Managers • Provide translation and proofreading services from English into Simplified Chinese (Singapore) • Submit relevant experience, CV, and proposed translation and proofreading rates

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Simplified Chinese (Singapore) • Specialization in Legal and/or Insurance translation • Acute attention to detail, spelling, and grammar • Ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines • Asian time zone preferred • Must sign a confidentiality agreement • Must complete free Translation and Proofreading tests • Must complete a background check • Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree including significant translation training, from a recognized institution; OR 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; OR 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; OR a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body • Latest CV must include relevant Translation and Proofreading experience and proposed Translation per-word and Proofreading hourly rates in USD
