📋 Description
• Analyze, appeal, and resolve denied or underpaid medical insurance claims • Track outstanding claims using aging reports and contact payers directly for resolution • Review electronic remittance advice (ERAs) and explanations of benefits (EOBs) for accuracy • Monitor revenue performance benchmarks, focusing on reducing overall days in accounts receivable • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and medical coding guidelines • Optimize the healthcare revenue cycle and maximize reimbursement from commercial and government payers
🎯 Requirements
• Advanced English knowledge required • Minimum 2–3 years in healthcare accounts receivable or medical billing • Dedicated medical billing experience • In-depth understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance guidelines • Proficiency in EHR/billing software, such as Epic or eClinicalWorks • Advanced MS Excel proficiency • Excellent negotiation skills for insurance follow-up and patient relations • Experience with accounts receivable and reconciliation • Knowledge of medical billing and billing software • Understanding of data privacy standards • Adherence to HIPAA regulations and medical coding guidelines • Proficiency with Google Drive, Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Microsoft Word, Excel, Hubstaff, Zoom, and QuickBooks • Own computer with internet access required • Must submit a 1.5–2 minute voice note in English during screening
