📋 Description

• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies • Monitor service charge, reserve and client account balances • Manage working capital and cash flow requirements • Review income and expenditure postings for accuracy and lease compliance • Maintain accurate accounting records and robust audit trails • Prepare financial information for monthly and quarterly client reporting • Produce budget versus actual reporting and variance analysis • Support Senior Client Accountants with data validation and reporting queries • Generate accurate service charge demands in line with budgets and lease requirements • Support annual budget preparation through historical expenditure analysis and future cost assumptions • Maintain audit trails of budget amendments • Ensure approved budgets are accurately loaded into systems • Prepare year-end audit packs to ETB level • Liaise with auditors and provide supporting documentation • Investigate and resolve audit queries and discrepancies • Ensure year-end outputs are complete, accurate and delivered on time • Work closely with Senior Client Accountants, Property Managers and General Managers • Provide financial insight, highlight risks and support operational decision-making • Collaborate with auditors, finance and credit control teams to ensure financial integrity

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years accounting experience • Accounting in service charge or property management highly preferable • Strong reconciliation and financial control knowledge • Good working knowledge of Qube or similar accounting systems • Strong Excel skills • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Proactive, accountable and collaborative • Confident communicator with both financial and non-financial stakeholders
