📋 Description

• Architect and scale Base360.ai, an AI operating system for short-term rental businesses • Design and develop scalable applications, services, and APIs for reservations, availability, pricing, payments, guest experiences, and property operations • Build event-driven automations for cleaning, check-in instructions, owner statements, and other repetitive workflows • Develop AI-powered systems using LLMs and AI agents for guest communication, maintenance triage, pricing decisions, and portfolio management • Create APIs connecting internal services, booking channels, third-party providers, and customer systems • Build and maintain integrations with Airbnb, Hostaway, Stripe, Twilio, OpenAI, Google, and other strategic partners • Deploy and manage cloud-native infrastructure for reliability, performance, and global growth • Build solutions for reservation and availability synchronization, dynamic pricing, smart locks, guest communication, forecasting, cleaning, maintenance, reporting, financial workflows, monitoring, and alerts • Own projects end-to-end from understanding operator problems through architecture, implementation, deployment, and ongoing improvement • Make senior engineering decisions, conduct code reviews, and ensure system reliability • Automate core short-term rental workflows and improve property-manager efficiency • Ensure reliable movement of reservations, availability, payments, and operational data between systems • Deploy and maintain new integrations reliably • Make AI-powered workflows part of customers’ everyday operations • Scale the platform to support more operators and properties while maintaining reliability and performance

🎯 Requirements

• Strong experience building and owning production-grade software systems • Experience with FastAPI, Python, React, or similar frameworks • Strong understanding of APIs, distributed systems, and cloud architecture • Experience designing scalable backend systems and reliable data models • Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions • Strong problem-solving skills and a product mindset • Curiosity about AI, automation, and operational efficiency • Bias toward action, shipping, and learning from real users • Ability to balance delivery speed with maintainability and reliability • English proficiency is requested in the application form • Bonus experience with short-term rentals, hospitality technology, or property management systems • Bonus experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms • Bonus experience with marketplace businesses and booking channel integrations • Bonus experience with AI agents and workflow automation • Bonus experience with event-driven architectures • Bonus experience with Supabase • Bonus experience with AWS serverless infrastructure
