📋 Description

• Provide leadership within the staff counsel office • Build and maintain internal and external relationships • Provide oversight, audit and guidance on case handling • Manage personal caseload • Conduct suit analyses and frequent reviews of staff law office files • Evaluate talent for performance cycles • Compile and analyze data and statistics for preparation of business reports • Identify issues of client, claim or corporate implications • Recruit, hire, develop and retain legal staff and support staff • Ensure adherence to all quality, customer service and litigation management standards

🎯 Requirements

• At least 10 years of legal experience • Work in IL/IN/WI/MN • Active litigation and direct file-handling in WC, auto, general liability • Management experience (direct leadership, project oversight, training, coaching, mentoring) • Member in good standing with the Illinois state and federal general bar • Experience analyzing data to derive insights • Proficiency with MS Office, MS Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, CoPilot
