📋 Description
• Manage the company’s Quality Assurance (QA) department to ensure compliance with GMP, FDA regulations (21 CFR), and other relevant industry standards • Oversee the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) • Supervise the review and approval of batch records, specifications, and test results for raw materials and finished products • Maintain the documentation of all quality-related activities, ensuring proper storage and accessibility of records in compliance with regulatory requirements • Serve as the primary contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors during inspections and audits • Provide strategic direction for quality initiatives, including process optimization, risk management, and continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
🎯 Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering) • Fluency in English Language • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a Quality Management or Quality Assurance role within the US dietary supplement manufacturing industry • Strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), particularly for dietary supplements, and how to implement and maintain compliance • Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR regulations • SQF Certification knowledge is a strong plus, with experience in maintaining and conducting SQF audits • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to solving quality issues.
