📋 Description

• Installation, maintenance, fault analysis, repair and commissioning of assigned products and systems • Performing instrument qualifications in accordance with applicable procedures and customer requirements • Planning and executing service calls with a focus on technical quality, organization and operational efficiency • Documenting all service activities and handling escalations in line with current Thermo Fisher Scientific policies and processes • Providing technical and application support to customers to ensure optimal instrument performance • Actively identifying and promoting our service offerings, such as service contracts, qualifications and system upgrades, during service visits and customer meetings • Close collaboration with Technical Support teams and manufacturing sites to rapidly resolve technical issues • Managing service inventory and maintaining tools and calibration equipment • Supporting trade shows, exhibitions and customer events • Working closely with Technical Team Leaders to ensure efficient service delivery and high customer satisfaction

🎯 Requirements

• Completed technical vocational training or a degree in electronics, medical technology, natural sciences, engineering or a comparable technical discipline • Ideally, experience in servicing technical, analytical, laboratory or medical devices • Enthusiasm for analytical systems and willingness to continuously learn new technologies and products • Experience in direct customer-facing field service is an advantage • Strong analytical skills and experience in systematic fault diagnosis/troubleshooting • Structured and organized work style and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously • High customer orientation combined with a professional demeanor and strong communication skills • Good knowledge of computer hardware and software • Very good communication skills within a matrix organization • German language skills at minimum B2 level and English skills at minimum B1, both spoken and written • Valid driver's license • High willingness to travel within Germany and, if required, within the EMEA region and worldwide for training purposes
