📋 Description

• Perform advanced bioinformatics programming activities for statistical and computational considerations of research projects • Work independently as lead programmer on selected moderately complex studies • Serve as a study team member under the direction of a lead programmer on more complex studies • Create, execute, maintain, and validate SAS programs • Transfer data across multiple data management systems or operating systems • Combine data from varied sources and structures • Generate and store summary data, reports, listings, tables, and figures • Act as lead programmer on selected studies of moderate complexity • Work with project team leaders and client representatives to develop project goals and timelines • Contribute to multidisciplinary clinical trials project teams • Manage and document assignments to meet timelines and quality standards • Perform quality control review for statistical programming • Maintain awareness of contractual obligations and limits • Provide training and guidance to junior team members • Support departmental infrastructure, conferences, meetings, training materials, documents, policies, working practices, and SOPs • Support the bidding process as requested

🎯 Requirements

• MS/MA degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or related field and at least 3 years of relevant experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification, and at least 5 years of relevant experience • Knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job requirements • Experience with SAS programming • Ability to create, execute, maintain, and validate programs generating listings, tables, and figures • Ability to transfer and combine data across multiple systems, operating systems, sources, and structures • Knowledge of programming technology and techniques, clinical trials, and the pharmaceutical industry • Ability to lead moderately complex studies • Ability to provide training and guidance to junior team members • Ability to train and mentor others
