📋 Description

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize agreements with clinical study sites • Negotiate investigator grant budgets and contractual terms within approved parameters • Ensure compliance with negotiation parameters, authority approvals, contractual processes, budgetary guidance, templates, and client expectations • Identify and assess legal, financial, and operational risks and escalate issues through established processes • Provide recommendations and alternative resolutions for investigator contract negotiations • Coordinate with internal functional departments to align site startup activities with contractual activities and timelines • Align contract negotiation processes with the critical path for site activation • Achieve target cycle times for site activations • Escalate out-of-parameter issues appropriately • Liaise with study sites and internal functional teams to establish effective relationships • Ensure quality, objectivity, and risk analysis in efficient contract delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification • 2–5 years of comparable relevant experience • Combination of appropriate education, training, and/or directly related experience may satisfy requirements • Good understanding of contract law, business law, intellectual property law, and local tax and stamp laws • Ability to apply basic principles of investigator grant negotiation • General understanding of business and financial principles related to service agreements • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language • Ability to draft and negotiate contract provisions and budgetary issues within parameters, with appropriate oversight • Strong attention to detail • Excellent analytical and decision-based thinking skills • Understanding of pharmaceutical product development and CRO involvement • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Good organizational and time-management skills • Working knowledge of PPD SOPs and WPDs • Ability to organize competing priorities and review contractual risks and issues • Ability to use automated systems and computerized applications • Customer-focused communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
