📋 Description

• Build and ship end-to-end features from written requirements through design, implementation, code review, and production • Own straightforward projects with moderate guidance • Develop across frontend, backend, and data layers with attention to performance and security • Work directly with database schemas and query performance • Apply AI coding and testing tools and help build AI capabilities into the product • Translate business requirements into appropriate AI-enabled or non-AI solutions • Learn and document core product services to distribute knowledge across the team • Read unfamiliar code, perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot production behavior, and address automated code-quality issues • Contribute to automated testing strategy and continuous integration and delivery pipelines • Participate in design discussions, agile ceremonies, and cross-team work with Product • Build relationships with product users and collaborate across time zones, often in writing • Share knowledge and support colleagues

🎯 Requirements

• Professional software engineering experience delivering production code in a modern language • Solid software engineering foundation that is actively being developed • Strength in either frontend or backend development, with willingness to become strong in the other • Experience integrating and consuming APIs in a cloud environment • Practical use of AI developer tooling in personal workflow • Judgment to evaluate when AI tooling is effective • Evidence of fast learning, including something self-taught and shipped • Preferred: exposure to containerization, infrastructure-as-code, or CI/CD pipelines • Preferred: experience building or integrating large language model features, including prompt design, evaluation, or retrieval over large document sets • Preferred: experience with data-intensive systems such as processing pipelines or query performance • Preferred: exposure to the legal domain or other specialist professional users
