📋 Description
• You analyze and evaluate market, customer and competitor data and develop calculation models as the basis for strategic and operational decisions • You advise our partner companies on energy-economics and regulatory issues relating to renewable electricity generation and project development, as well as on marketing the generated renewable electricity • You ensure the economic viability of renewable energy and storage investments within the group and jointly develop effective solutions for identifying and implementing projects by Thüga Group companies on site, as well as corresponding business development strategies • You independently lead cross-company projects nationwide at strategic and operational levels and ensure the local feasibility of the results • You represent Thüga’s interests in association and committee work, giving you the opportunity to actively help shape the future energy-policy framework for the expansion of renewable electricity generation • You help us improve processes and develop scalable solutions for complex issues
🎯 Requirements
• University degree with a focus on energy economics or a related field • Good knowledge of the German energy sector, in particular current issues and requirements for expanding renewable electricity generation and large battery storage in Germany (e.g. BauGB, EEG — German Building Code and Renewable Energy Sources Act) • Theoretical and practical experience in project management • Strong IT skills; experience creating Excel or comparable calculation models is desirable • Quick learner with fast comprehension • Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style • Team player with initiative and creativity in solving complex issues • Confident presence and high personal commitment • Ideally several years’ experience advising utilities or working in the renewable energy project business • Extensive methodological knowledge and project management tools as well as facilitation skills are desirable • Willingness to travel for business within Germany
