📋 Description
• Manage operational activities for the Legal, Risk & Compliance (LRC) department • Oversee a range of matters with varying levels of complexity focused on operational execution • Collaborate to improve LRC intake, prioritization, and service delivery framework • Maintain LRC calendar, mail, and organize department meetings • Research nonprofit regulatory requirements and assess operational impact
🎯 Requirements
• At least 5 years of paralegal or legal compliance experience or similar • Relevant bachelor’s, preferably in a nonprofit or corporate law environment; or 7 years of relevant experience; paralegal certificate a plus • Basic knowledge of 501(c)(3) legal and regulatory laws and regulations • Demonstrated experience supporting data and record management in legal settings • Appreciation for and experience handling confidential, sensitive and attorney-client privileged communications
