📋 Description

• Serve as the premier Network Specialist and Subject Matter Expert (SME) for network-related issues • Ensure complex technical infrastructure requirements are met • High-level installation, configuration, and management of network communication equipment • Identify and resolve complex LAN/WAN network problems • Provide consulting on LAN/WLAN/WAN design and implementation • Manage network firewalls, VPN devices, and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) • Document changes via ticketing systems and create written standards

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline AND five (5) years of related experience, OR completion of a certified Technical or Vocational School AND ten (10) years of related experience • Mastery of networking protocols and technologies • Clear understanding of communications and Internet standards • Direct experience with communications mediums • Experience with OTDR, cable testers, network sniffers • Mastery-level experience in routed, switched, and shared LAN environments • Active SECRET security clearance • Information Assurance Manager (IAM) Level III or equivalent certification
