📋 Description

• Install, commission, and maintain TOMRA sorting machines at customer sites • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electromechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and retrofits • Support customers with training and best practices for daily machine operation • Document service activities and provide clear feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement • Collaborate with colleagues across service, engineering, and sales to deliver a high-quality customer experience • Report to the Field Service Team leader • Maintain a “Safety first” mindset in daily work at the company and customer sites

🎯 Requirements

• Mechanical education requiring a secondary education diploma, preferably a subject-specific diploma, or proven practical experience in a mechanical field service role • EFK (Elektrofachkraft) together with AuS (Arbeiten unter Spannung) qualification is mandatory • Minimum 5 years of experience in Field Service Engineer • Hands-on experience with mechanical systems (pneumatics, hydraulics, rotating equipment) • Basic understanding of electrical systems and controls preferred • Fluent in English and German • Valid driver's license with a good driving record • Willingness to travel across mostly Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and occasionally other European countries; travel planned in advance • Comfortable working in industrial environments and on customer sites • Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused mindset
