📋 Description

• We are toogeza, a Ukrainian recruiting company focused on hiring talents and building teams for tech startups worldwide. • Elva is a mobile app with a subscription for exclusive video content and tools for video creation. • Role: Python Developer to design and build the backend of Elva’s AI-powered application. • Hands-on role where code and technical decisions directly impact product scalability, performance, and user satisfaction. • Tech stack: Python 3.10+, FastAPI, aiohttp, gRPC, grpclib, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, opencv-python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, pytest, Docker Compose. • Responsibilities: design modular scalable backend architecture; write clean, maintainable, testable code; integrate third-party APIs; optimize and maintain existing codebase; implement innovative solutions and best practices. • Location: Remote; Hiring process: screening (30 min), technical (90 min), final with CTO (60 min), offer.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience in Python development. • Hands-on experience building backend services from scratch and deploying to production. • Deep understanding of modern Python development practices. • Experience designing and developing reusable modules/libraries. • Strong expertise with relational databases. • Knowledge of modern deployment practices. • Solid experience with asynchronous processing and task queues. • Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools. • Familiarity with REST and gRPC. • Business-oriented mindset. • Self-organization, responsibility, and proactivity. • Readiness to adapt the product quickly to market conditions. • Nice-to-have: Strong experience integrating ML models (PyTorch, TensorFlow). • Nice-to-have: Experience building backends for AI-oriented applications. • Nice-to-have: Experience with AWS and/or DigitalOcean infrastructure.
