📋 Description

• Translate from English into Acholi for Life Sciences materials • Work specifically on Informed Consent Form translation needs • Provide freelance linguist services to meet client translation requirements • Maintain accuracy, spelling, grammar, and professionalism under tight deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Native level of target language (Acholi) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Specialization in Life Sciences: Informed Consent Form • Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar • Ability to maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines • One of the following: a degree in translation, linguistics, or language studies, or an equivalent degree with significant translation training, from a recognized institution of higher education; 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; 5 years of translation experience and no degree; or a certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body • Applicants will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement • Trados 2022 license question included in the application
