📋 Description

• Create one high-quality short story of approximately 6,000 words to help test and improve Machine Translation technology • Submit a brief plot for approval before writing the story • Complete the story within the specified timeframe • Make revisions if required based on feedback • Write in an assigned genre based on selected preference: Kids, Thriller/Mystery, Sci-fi/Fantasy, Self-help, Romance, or Memoir/Biography

🎯 Requirements

• Residency in South Africa • Native-level fluency in Afrikaans • Excellent Afrikaans writing skills, including grammar and spelling • Working proficiency in English; all communication and guidelines are in English • Degree in Literature or Creative Writing and/or proven experience in writing or content creation • Strong preference for candidates with published books and/or high-quality writing samples in relevant genres
