📋 Description

• Manage the nutrition care of critically ill patients, including those requiring enteral and parenteral nutrition support. • Serve as a clinical nutrition expert, providing guidance and support to physicians, staff, and patient families to ensure optimal nutritional outcomes. • Provide expert nutrition care for critically ill patients, including the management of artificial nutrition support. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams through participation in patient rounds and performance improvement initiatives. • Serve as a resource for nutrition support education to medical staff, patients, and families. • Integrate clinical data from various disciplines to create comprehensive, individualized nutrition plans. • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all patient interactions and documentation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Dietetics or Food and Nutrition from an accredited institution • Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC) through NBNSC • Active registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) • Licensed or in the process of obtaining licensure in the state of Maryland (including 15 CE hours annually) • Minimum 1 year of experience in nutrition support • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across care teams • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
